Tomboudu is proud of the new church.
Apostle Kargbo recently dedicated a new type 2 (about 150 capacity) church in Tombodu. This town is found in Kono District, East of Sierra Leone. The attendance was about 600 in the church and outside. The text was from Hebrew 4:3 “For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said – So I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter my rest – although the works were finished from the foundation of the world”.
Tombodu is one of the towns that suffered tremendous atrocities during the rebel war in the country. There is a war monument, where people visit to see remains of human skulls, bones and other remains. It is also possible to pray for the lost souls in a room for Christians.
New Apostolic Church is a source of comfort for the town people.
